beautifully put here: "Being conscious of when you’ve fallen into a worry loop and mindfully breaking out of it is an invaluable skill to add to your toolkit."
Cory, your words keep me sane. I get so excited to sit down in a quiet place to read them as soon as they get posted. Thank you thank you thank you, Cory. You are such a brilliant writer and you help us all **so much** with your beautifully written posts with clear and concise action points like this one. Grateful for you. And of course this post came right when I was in a serious worry loop 🤯
Cory, this was fascinating, especially the perspective of worry as a tool which has a purpose of protecting us. It seems like the rapid progress of human beings has wreaked havoc on these protective systems of ours. Evolution simply can't keep up and we're bringing our still very primitive senses into a world that they are just not prepared for.
I've suffered from severe anxiety and excessive worry for my entire adult life, and your tips on breaking these worry loops are much appreciated. Thank you. 🙏🙏
Thank you, Cory, for this insightful newsletter on breaking the worry loop. Your perspective offers a refreshing lens through which to understand these challenging mental states. I appreciate your practical tips. This is a reminder that we have the power to shape our present and future by consciously directing our thoughts and actions.
Consciousness is the key 🔑. Our problems are like the one you explained Corry. Can be solved by just stepping back realizing and deep thinking. But we have to remember that according to act truly after we realize where we are wrong we have to be brave enough to do what is frightening us. Corry do you have advice about this? Or maybe you have a post about this that I didn't catch.
