“Feeling unfinished”. Wow. That’s the perfect way to describe the collateral damage to self from all of this.

I won’t let someone else’s urgency become my emergency. That’s my M.O. now.

Possibly that 1/3 just were triggered because they feel powerless and unable to change jobs or set boundaries … I always set boundaries and was respected for it. Anytime I wasn’t I had the courage to leave and always found something better. They are choosing hustle culture … people need to know they don’t have to choose the hustle.

you are speaking/expressing my thoughts. I am so with you on that. It's a choice. We don't need to follow the hustle-sheep.

dear cory,

beautiful piece!

i love this: "It isn’t about disappearing and being selfish. It’s about showing up, being strong, and learning the tools to finally give yourself the space and respect you deserve."

Absolutely LOVED this one, it really struck. You put words to something I find difficult to describe and that we all struggle with. Thank you so much!!

Dear Cory,

I agree 100% with you. Discernment and love inteligence are one top priorities to re-build what is with no harmony and heal the loose pieces in our ecosystems.

I can not “like” your post on IG,because I decided to left that platform that made me feel confused and nervous.

Thanks for your piece. Big hug !

I want to thank you Cory because I’ve lived like this for so many years and yet still somewhat struggle finding the right words to teach others to live that way as well. You do a great job!

love this article and your points! We DO move too fast, and it annoys the hell out of me because everything suffers from that behavior - the quality, value and depth of relationships, services, products, travel, wellbeing/health....Yet, people keep rushing and submitting to the acceleration society. Hopefully, more people wake up and become more aware of this urgency culture madness. I am a slow-downer myself (love that you were described like that! How cool!), a rebel against a rushing world....and love to discover others who think/act in a like-minded way.
